Subject: PetsEmpower domestic violence pet fostering
Hi Kerstin,

Nice to speak this week! We are a free pet fostering referral for police officers in MA for domestic violence.

We have fostered 23 pets in Boston so far. We aim for 100 this year as we build our infrastructure to scale globally.

(Details, media, deck, pamphlet, and program description below)

Thanks for your concern about domestic violence survivors and their pets!

My Best,
Jordan

We are a 501 C3 providing temporary pet fostering for domestic violence survivors, allowing them to access domestic violence shelters and reunite since human shelters prohibit pets right here in Boston. Check us out at PetsEmpower.org.  We'd love to collaborate on an article raising awareness about this issue.

Congesswoman Katherine Clark of MA has been instrumental in introducing the PAWS Act and is also working on the pet barrier to human shelter entry.
