Good afternoon.  I wanted to reach out to see if you had received any feedback from the payroll department?

 

We have to decide on the benefits that we will be offering to the troopers moving forwardWe are going to need to make plan design changes.    We need to make these decision before we can add the COA or the new troopers. 

 

Based on our call the other day, it seems that mailings are going out in August to the COA members. 

We would want the member of the COA to be given enough time to make a decision and enroll in the benefit and get the payroll deductions made.

The new troopers would also need to be given the new information and be given an opportunity to enroll.

 

Chris Dumont has confirmed for me that payroll is now stopping deductions for troopers that are promoted.  They are NOT letting me know that troopers deductions have been stopped. This means that there could be additional troopers that I have as covered that are not!  They are also stopping deductions when a trooper retires.  They are not sharing the information with me on this either!  So, there could be troopers on my covered list that are not covered because they are retired as well.
