Dear PRIM Board and committee members,

 

The Treasurer�s staff has been diligently monitoring legislation that may impact PRIM.  Please see the email below from Emily Kowtuniuk, Director of Policy and Legislative Affairs at the Office of the Treasurer and Receiver General, regarding the recently announced virtual hearing of the Joint Committee on Public Service on June 9, 2021.  Please note the start time has changed from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.

 

The Treasurer plans to provide written testimony only on H43 and H44, but many bills (15) on the agenda could impact PRIM.  I have attached a PDF file that includes detail on these PRIM-related bills, which are highlighted below.

 

At the bottom of the Public Hearing Notice, there is information on attending (virtually) along with the method used to testify or provide written testimony if you choose to do so as a member of the public.

We just received the notice below from the Joint Committee on Public Service. They will hold a virtual public hearing next Wednesday, June 9th on several PRIM-related bills (highlighted).
