ALL:  I received a complaint from a member the other night after he called the main desk and was transferred to Corey's phone.  The voice message on this was for Dana Pullman.  I previously contacted our phone vendor, GLOTELCO, and found they were less than responsive.  I spoke with Kerstin today who attempted to update the phone messages and was unable.  We are locked out of our phone system. 

I was on the phone with Delphi, our IT support, and they recommended Valley Communications.  Charlie Tremble from Valley communications forwarded me the attached flyer for their system.  They have the current state contract and provide the phone systems for the MDAA, statewide.  This system may actually cost us less than what we are paying now, and allows for video conferencing, remote answering (Telecommuting) and a multitude of other features.  You can provide a member with your direct line and it will ring at both your office phone and cell phone if you choose.  The voicemail will be converted into a audio file and emailed to your account for review. 

They will be coming into SPAM on 2/18/20 at 1100 to present their system and review our system.  Chris - They have asked if we could have a phone bill readily accessible for them when they arrive.  They will then discuss with us the possibilities and the build out of a new modern system. 

I informed them about our future plans and this system is readily adaptable to expansion and multiple locations, such as a union hall etc...

Kerstin - This system appears to integrate with various CRM's.  We should look into those CRM's as part of our ongoing effort to upgrade the systems here at SPAM.
